The process of customizing a tumbler takes 5-7 days to create because the process is very time consuming. The epoxy takes 24 hours to dry and during that time at least 5 to 7 hours the tumbler is on a turner constantly turning so the epoxy dries evenly and smooth. Then the tumbler will be lightly sanded to get the epoxy smooth. After the dust is cleaned away, we will create the design of your chosen artwork and then apply the vinyl or waterslide to the tumbler. Next is the second layer of epoxy and back on the tumbler turner it goes. Then if we have created a tumbler with fine glitter, a lot of times the tumbler is complete but not always. we may have to sand down the tumbler again to then clean and put the final coat of epoxy on it. Most tumblers have 3 coats on them.. depending on design and glitter size some only need 2 and others might have 4.
What is a Sublimation Tumbler?
A sublimation tumbler is a stainless steel or tumbler made from another material that has been “printed” with a type of ink transfer called sublimation. Sublimation is a chemical process that takes a solid to a gaseous state, skipping the liquid phase. In sublimation printing, “solid” ink is embedded into a polyester substrate by heating it straight to a gas.
The result is a high quality, permanent, and peel proof design that becomes a part of your tumbler material. This makes sublimation tumblers perfect for gifts or even for small businesses.
What is Mica Powder?
Mica powder is a versatile colorant for arts and crafts projects, epoxy resin crafts, soaps and cosmetics. Just a teaspoon of this natural mineral can add shimmer, sparkle and vibrant color to any project. Unlike alcohol inks, glow in the dark colors are available. So if you are wanting any sized cup other than a 20oz Skinny Straight Tumbler this option is available.

What are alcohol inks?
Alcohol inks are fast-drying, highly pigmented, alcohol-based inks that are great to use on any hard, non-porous surface including glass, metal, plastic, ceramic, stone, leather and polymer clay. Once the ink is applied, the alcohol evaporates, leaving the dye behind. It comes in various colors and is good in cases where you want the color without the shimmer that the mica powders give.
